1. Product Description
PI high temperature tape uses Polyimide film as the base material, on which a modified pressure sensitive adhesive is coated. PI tape can be divided into two types according to the adhesive: PI silicone tape and PI acrylic tape.

3. Product Characteristics
PI tape has a flexible polyimide base material with excellent electrical insulation and heat resistance. PI film can withstand temperatures exceeding 400°C. If coated with a modified silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive, its temperature resistance can reach 280°C. If coated with an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, it exhibits excellent adhesion and weather resistance.
4. Product Application Scope
- PI silicone tape is primarily used in applications requiring high-temperature resistance or high initial adhesion, such as insulation and wrapping for H-class motor and transformer coils, wrapping and securing high-temperature coil ends, protecting RTDs, detangling capacitors and wires, and other applications requiring high-temperature insulation, protecting PCB gold fingers and electronic components during surface-mount mounting (SMT), and wrapping polymer lithium batteries.
- PI acrylic tape is commonly used for PCB insulation, securing and wrapping wire harnesses, wrapping transformer coils between layers and on the outside, and insulating lithium batteries.

7. Product Usage Instructions
- Before use, please clean the surface of the object to be pasted to remove oil, moisture, dust, and other impurities.
- Since pressure-sensitive adhesives are used, a roller or stamping equipment must be used for full pressing during lamination.
- The above technical data are obtained by the company using industry-recognized and reliable testing methods and do not serve as a product specification guarantee.
- When processing conditions are strict, repeated tests should be conducted, and the product can be used only after full verification.
- The optimal storage conditions for the product are 23 ± 5℃ and 50 ± 10% RH (Relative Humidity), with a shelf life of 6 months.
- Storage under conditions such as direct sunlight, high temperature (above 35℃), high humidity (above 70% RH), and low temperature will not be covered by the 6-month shelf life guarantee.
- If the surface of the object is damp, or if the product is used in a dusty, acidic, or alkaline environment, or when laminated with special materials, repeated verification is required before it can be put into use.
